I saw this man's hat, his sunglasses and his face and knew I had to take a picture of him. He was quietly looking at items for sale at the Farmer's Market in Las Cruces and graciously agreed to stop and pose for me. I have a lot of admiration for people of his generation who fought for our country. (2011)
I'm glad you captured him for the rest of us to see. I probably would have seen him, thought he was interesting, then been too nerdy to ask him for a picture.
ReplyDeleteIt's neat you can see you taking the photo in his shades.
I had another shot of him looking off at an angle so you can't see me. But it lost something. There's something about the straight-on look that makes it more powerful. I didn't really like being in it, but this was just a stronger image. You could see the cap better and there was just a lot more symmetry.
ReplyDeleteHey, I stumbled across this today. I haven't had time to really look at it, but it seems neat so far.
